It is a bitter cold night, and levi can see the breath in front of his face. The moon is bright above, beaming down like a spotlight on the night world, and as such, with so few streetlights on this desolate row, everything was alight with a pale glow. Levi had gotten into an argument with his mother just earlier and stormed out of there cramped apartment to get some fresh air. It was very hard in his household, moving to a new town, getting the family reestablished, especially when his mother was so adamant about him going to school, and eventually graduating. Money was so tight, when the only income was his mother's profits from selling her craft wares on-line. There wasn't much demand for hippie trinkets and attire anymore, and Levi had told his mother to find something new to make. She is firmly set in her ways though, and a fight ensued. " Best to just let You cool down" Levi Mumbles absently as he turned to cross the street to-wards the run down urban park next to the corner drug store. At that moment Levi was deafened by a high pitched ripping noise from his side, the squealing of tires from an older model long bodied car. Sirens echoed off of the stone buildings further down the street, and the broad headlights from that car, blinded Levi as with incredible momentum the car rocketed to-wards this lone walker.

"Oh no you don't" hissed Maggie, cursing as she had to dive out of the way of a particularly heavy rock that was thrown at her head. Scrambling to her feet and ignoring the sharp stabs from where the ground had bit into her hands, she chased the ghost up the street. This particular ghost was a tall, black boy who came from this part of town and had been killed in a hit and run last month. And he wasn't happy about it.
Maggie swore again when she saw the ghost jump into the passenger seat of a parked car. The driver was totally unaware of any change until the ghost began driving the car in a suicidal way.
"I'm taking out as many bastards as I can" the ghost crowed. "Look there's a kid walking. I'll get him too! Just try and stop me!"
"I'll do more than try" she grumbled, running towards the boy instead of the car. "Look out" she shouted, tackling him, just as the car mowed down the section of road he had just been standing on. She landed on top of him and immediately jumped to her feet, looking around. The car and its unconscious owner had slammed into a wall. The ghost was gone. Maggie made a face. "Are you ok" she wanted to know.

The very few Hair splitting moments before that car was deemed to plow him over, a lot of very small, yet momentus happenings had occured. There was no literal reaction his mind could muster, in that short amount of time, Though in this short amout of time, his body was aware of a few odd changes. The Hairs on his arms, and the back of his neck stood out crooked and shivvering, as if they where being blown out of his skin. His pupils dissapeared into his eyes and with that quarter of a second reaction time, they flashed a saphire, blazing light. His muscled shuttered and gave completely out, and unbeknownst to anybody else, he was being surged with one of his" episodes". The air crackled slightly, and the moment became eternal to him, and he was suspended in the air there, his body like some futuristic battery, poised to defend itself with an explosion of neural energy... Then, From his side, a figure speared him roughly, with surprising force, and sideways he slammed to the asphalt and grinded a foot or so , just before this girl rose again and surveyed that the car was crashed, and inactive. "" Are you ok"" The words echoed into his mind metalically, as if down some long military hanger, and he snapped immediately back to himself. He gasped deeply, arching his back against the road under him, Letting out a loud groan, as some form of blue flaming electricity engulfed him form, And the car in its resting place, Shivvered like a 2 ton car should never shivver, all of the glass that had not beed blasted out by the collision shattered inward into a million shards, and finally with an eye meltingly bright flash, and a boom that seemed to shake the ground under them, The car, The wall it had slammed into, A set of swings from the nearby playground, as well as half of the windows down the block Ruptured, and exploded into as many little tiny pieces as is possible to be so...
