Maggie and Sammi went on ahead, neither talking to each other. They weren't really friends, they were just there to support the boys becomming friends again.
Marcus looked shocked. "Mike? But he loves power rangers. Why would he...oh well, doesn't matter." He shrugged. "It's done with."

"Yeah, still plays them too, I know, I got record on what some of your friends do.." Liam said looking at the girls, he wanted them to be friends, but he couldn't really force em could he. He just shrugged and got out of the car, walking toward the restaurant. "Oh and I'd be careful with that Mike if I were you...you know how he is around girls.. and when he drinks too much, something is fishy about him too.. like he has some kind of.. secret...power maybe.. or I'm just imagining that cause I don't know the guy."

"Oh come off it, Liam. Mike's just like any normal guy with hormones around girls." Marcus laughed and clapped Liam on the back. His eyes followed Liam's to the two girls ahead of them. "Well they're certainly killing the mood, huh?"
Maggie arched an eyebrow. Sammi was texting someone. "Are you talking about me" she asked coldly. She had seen a six letter word starting with M on the screen before Sammi had managed to close the phone.
She flushed. "Uh...no."

"Yeah... I just hope Sammi would trust people more often, Maggie is a nice girl, so is Sammi.. but I kinda feel that they are hiding something." Liam just said to Marcus, thinking back to when Maggie saw him get invisible, there was something, that didn't make her scared of him, then again he couldn't be sure, he just shrugged it off. "Meh might be nothing, well let's go eat haha."

Marcus nodded, his face heating up slightly. "Yeah...Maggie's a nice girl..." He shook his head to clear it of whatever he was thinking and nodded briskly. "Yeah, let's eat."
Maggie was still glaring at Sammi. The two of them were frozen in a heated staring contest. Maggie finally broke the silence. "Look, if you don't want me here, just tell me."

Liam just looked at the girls and then at Marcus, what was going on in those girls head. "Don't go Maggie, can't you girls just.. talk your differences.. and make up.. I mean... fighting each other is bad, everyone is different... for all I know you girls.. could have something.. special.." Liam said, he didn't know of course if they had powers of their own, but he looked at Marcus for some help to calm those girls down.

Sammi and Maggie both visibly paled a bit when Liam mentioned special powers but glossed over it quickly by turning to stare irritably at the boys. "Stay out of it" Maggie scowled. "Just because the two of you are all chummy now..." she trailed off and Sammi picked it up from there.
"...doesn't mean you can make other people the same" she finished, crossing her arms and turning her back on Maggie.
Marcus got an idea. "Hey, why don't you talk to Sammi and I'll talk to Maggie? See if we can't calm them down enough to at least eat in peace without the restaurant exploding."

Liam looked at Marcus, he was right, they should do that, though he was wondering why Marcus was that interested to Maggie, he just kept looking at his new friend, well they would of been friends for a long time if he actually said something in kindergarten. "Hum.. you do know you have a girlfriend right?" Liam whispered, he just smiled though as he looked at Sammi, how was he supposed to manage that. "Take the lead Marcus.. and I'll talk to Sammi, I just need to imagine this.. like.. that call of duty game.." Liam just said, whispering to make sure the girls wouldn't hear.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah...girlfriend...got it." Marcus was barely paying attention to what Liam was saying. He was focusing on Maggie. He took a deep breath, shook his arms out to limber up and then approached her. "Hey Maggie, I need to talk to you." He jerked his head towards an area a few feet away. "Alone."
Maggie watched him apprehensively. "Fine" she said after a moment of consideration and followed him. "What's up?" She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow curiously.

Liam just looked at Marcus, as he was left alone with Sammi, he opened his mouth though shut it, he didn't know what to do, he wasn't good with girls that much, let alone a girl that called him a freak and saw his powers, he just took a deep breath, looking at Sammi in the eyes for a moment. "Ok.. you can do this, it's just like.. talking to an xbox.. except.. that.. this xbox is alive and talks back." Liam thought as he looked at Sammi again coughing a little. "So.. hum... huh we... huh need to talk."

Sammi assumed basically the same position as Maggie, with her arms crossed and her lips pursed. "Why? What's with the intervension of you and the brick wall?" She was, of course, referring to Marcus when she said this because of how muscular Marcus was.
Marcus, meanwhile, was having no trouble talking to Maggie, as talking to girls was one of his best qualities. "So Maggie...you know, what you did for Liam...helping him like that in the quad...it was pretty cool."
Maggie leaned against the wall behind her, her arms still tightly wound together, but her expression slightly softer. "Thanks."

"Huh.....what intervention.." Liam just said, this was harder then talking to an xbox that's for sure, xbox would just.. stay silent, you could say what you wanted even yell at it. He just looked at her calmly. Not really used to this kind of talk, he just sighed. "I'm sorry for what happened.. sorry if I yelled at you.. and sorry if you had to see that..."

"See what" she asked blankly. She really didn't really want to talk about his powers because then she might slip and talk about hers.
Marcus grinned broadly. "Seriously. I've never seen a girl fight so well. Where did you learn it?"
Maggie uncrossed her arms and scratched an itch on the back of her elbow. Then she crossed them again. "Just around. I've got younger twin brothers. I do a kickboxing tape almost every night. Plus first hand experience...with guys like you."

"For.. well.. when I turned.. you know... sorry if I was mad at you... guess I just... expected you.. to be a good person... to be.. different then the others. Liam just said, by whispering to her so other people wouldn't hear it, they would think he was crazy, Liam soon sighed. "Maybe you are right... I am maybe a freak.... but at least I'm a freak who has concern for others and that will help others when they need help.." Liam just said, breaking the eye contact he looked away. "I just wish you could understand human emotions... and.. see people the other way around.. instead of always thinking they are freaks."

Sammi remained silent.
Marcus looked around and lowered his voice. "Look, Maggie, I think you're really cool. Will you go out with me?"
Maggie's jaw unhinged. "What?! You have a girlfriend" she hissed.
"Well, yeah, I know, but...Amber and I...it's just a fling...it's not real love or anything. So what do you say, Maggie?"
Maggie pushed off the wall and shoved Marcus backwards a foot. "You" she said disgustedly, "Are a pig." She marched back to Sammi and Liam. "I'm leaving" she announced.
