Liam just sighed calmly, as Sammi remained silent, he was about to say something until Maggie arrived and said she was leaving, Liam just looked at her wondering what happened, he then looked at Marcus, wondering if he said something bad. He got up and looked at Maggie. "Why are you leaving.. you should stay Maggie... so everyone can talk their differences out.." Liam said, looking at Marcus for some help, he then looked at Sammi for help as well but he doubted that she would help. Ju..just sit and me and marcus will have a talk." Liam said, dragging Marcus away from the table, when they were far enough from the girls he just looked at him. "What did you say to her exactly?"

Maggie and Sammi took seats across from each other at the table and stared in opposite directions, their faces set with grim, annoyed expressions.
Marcus chuckled and shook his head. "Relax, Liam. I just asked if she wanted to go out sometime, that's all."

"Oh.. WHAT? Liam just said, and looked around as people were now looking at him for yelling what, he then looked at Marcus and whispered. "Looks like it's not going well with your girlfriend.. do something.. talk to Maggie again.." Liam just said, he was controlling himself so hard so he wouldn't laugh because of what Marcus told her. Liam then looked at both girls. "So hum.. huh we should make our orders... "

Marcus laughed at Liam's reaction and at the fact that people were staring at them now. He followed Liam back over to the table where the girls were sitting. "Let's order" he suggested. "Then, Maggie, can I talk to you again?"
Maggie had one leg crossed over the other and her arms locked together so tightly that it was unlikely she would unwind herself for several hours. Her expression remained stony over her entwined limbs. "No" was her harsh answer.
Marcus' smile faded. "Oh come on Maggie, I'm a good guy. Talk to me...tell her, Liam. Sammi."
Sammi pursed her lips. "What she does is her business." She glanced briefly at the amused waiter. "I'll have water with a lemon in it and a salad."

Liam just looked at Marcus, well what could he say, the guy sure loved girls a lot, but something told him that to Marcus, Maggie was different, he just looked at Marcus for a while with a small smile. "Anyways let's just eat shall we." When Sammi said something though, he just looked at her confused, her order was a salad. "Huh just a salad.. I mean... you are pretty and you have a good body.. why are you just going to eat a salad.. we got enough money for what we want." Liam just said, looking at her with that confused look, though he just looked at the guy and soon ordered. "I'll take a spicy spaghetti with meat balls, for drink it will be an orange juice.."

Sammi raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow when Liam called her pretty...well it was implied. "Are you hitting on me" she asked in an annoyed tone, but secretly she was flattered. No one had hit on her in a long time.
Maggie remained mute, just giving Marcus a sort of half-scowl, half-skeptic look.
Marcus, on his part, was looking pretty miserable. "Please, Maggie" he said again.

Liam just looked at Sammi taken a back by what she said, he just looked away for a while before looking at her again." "N.. no I'm.. I'm just saying the truth." Liam said, soon looking at Marcus and Maggie, he looked at Maggie with that look that said, just talk to the guy. Liam then just looked at Marcus. "Yo, what's your order and you Maggie, what do you want to eat?"

Sammi gave a curt nod. "Well fine, whatever. As long as you're not hitting on me."
Marcus was distracted for a moment to say, "Sausage pizza please. A large. And a soda."
Maggie gave Liam a look of her own that said quite clearly, "I don't want to talk to him, I don't like him" but she gave a disgruntled sigh and eventually uncrossed her arms, leaning across the table long enough to hiss, "Fine, Marcus, one more chance. Before our food comes." She broke off to address the waiter. "By the way, I'll have fettichini alfredo." Then she rounded on Marcus again. "But if you try anything, I swear to god..."
Marcus backed away, his hands in the air in surrender. "I won't, I won't, I promise."

"No worries.. I won't." Liam said, looking at Marcus and Maggie, he just smiled, he hoped everything would go smoothly. He sighed calmly, waiting for food was always annoying specially when you could smell all those good things the other customers were eating. "The food smells so good.. wonder how long we have to wait.."

Marcus led Maggie away by the elbow. When they were in the little hallway by the restrooms, he stopped walking.
Maggie yanked her arm free. "Well?"
Sammi was left alone with Liam who was talking about how good the food smelled. "It does smell pretty good" she admitted. "I've always loved this restaurant."
Marcus fidgeted. "Ok, so I know you don't like me very much..."
"Understatement" Maggie coughed.
"Ok...so I know you don't like me at all...but I'm hoping to change that. I think you're really cool, Maggie, and it would mean a lot to me if you would just give me a chance."

"I've always loved this restaurant too, it's thanks to this restaurant that I learned to cook Italian food." Liam just said, wondering what the others were doing, he just looked at Sammi again. "So hum.. can you cook as well?" Liam said, he didn't know a good conversation subject, he wasn't used to this.

"I can cook." Sammi was defiant. "Sort of..." she added after a moment's pause. "I can make cakes. Oh, and bread! But that's about it." She shrugged. "I don't really need to cook. My mom cooks for me. And sometimes my dad."
"Give you a chance" Maggie repeated slowly. After what must have seemed like milleniums to poor Marcus, she shrugged almost carelessly. "Sure, I'll give you a chance. One last chance not to be an ass. Let's see how it goes." Without waiting for a reaction, she turned and made her way back to the table.

"Ah you are lucky... my mom died.. giving birth to me... my dad.. well hated me, that's when.. it manifested when he was yelling at me. Since then I've been living alone, 15 had my own house and had to cook my own food." Liam said, looking at her, he just smiled though he didn't show any signs of sadness, even though inside, he was sad.

Sammi looked at him blankly. "I thought I made it kind of clear that I don't..." she looked up as Marcus and Maggie reapproached. "...want to talk about that" she finished in a hiss.
Marcus sat next to Maggie but when she gave him a look, he switched back to his seat across from her. "Food here yet" he wanted to know.
"Does it look like it's here yet" Maggie muttered sarcastically.

"I'm... sorry.. I forget." Liam just said, looking away as Maggie arrived with Marcus, he just smiled at them and Maggie was right no food on table yet. "I think you also forgot to order something." Liam said looking at Maggie, they sure took time to cook food but they made the food quite special. He then looked at Marcus, was it him or did he just hear his stomach growl.
