"Ok guys, he'll be here any minute. Keep it down and get to your places." Marcus was a little dissapointed that more people didn't show up to the party. He had sent out tons of invitations. Amber had warned him that he was risking his social reputation by linking himself to the nerd but Liam was finally all healed and deserved a party. So Marcus had thrown one. A grand total of Maggie, Sammi, Mal, and himself had shown up. He was hoping some more people would get there a little later on to make all the balloons and streamers worth it.

Maggie was perched on one end of the couch, all by herself, but it didn't bother her in the slightest. She wasn't there to be popular or because Marcus had asked her to. She was there for Liam. She glanced out the window and saw Liam approaching. "He's here" she called. She ducked behind the couch. Marcus was behind the door. Sammi and Mal were crouched together in the closet.

Liam parked his car and got out of it. He was wondering what Marcus was doing, he probably was playing on his xbox 360 instead of doing his homework like he should of. Liam took out some shopping bags from his car, all with food, Marcus asked him to buy some food and stuff, so he did, he didn't know why though. Marcus was maybe hungry. He just shrugged as he moved toward the door. Putting the bags down, he slowly opened the door.

The door opened and Mal, along with everyone else, jumped from their places and shouted, "Surprise!" Mal and Sammi hung back while Maggie and Marcus approached Liam. Mal watched as Maggie gave Liam a hug and Marcus pounded him on the back. They were saying some things she couldn't hear. She poured herself a glass of punch and leaned against the counter. "He's a lot happier these days" she observed.
Sammi nodded, pouring herself a glass of the punch as well. "Yeah, things are going his way finally."

When the door was finally opened, Liam was taken a back from the surprise shouting, but he was really happy, he just smiled as Maggie hugged him and also when Marcus pounded on him. "Haha you liar, you didn't need food after all." Liam said laughing. As he took the bags in and closed the door. "Feels good, to be intact and feel a bit new.." Liam said smiling, he looked at Mal and Sammi and smiled at them as well, happy that they were also here..Liam then looked at Maggie again "I'm sure doctor Riley misses us." Liam said, jokingly with a small wink.

Maggie laughed. "Don't worry about Doctor Riley. I'm a clumsy person and I will be back there soon. You, however, will not be." She put her hands on his sholders and looked him in the eyes. "Promise me."
Marcus took the food to the kitchen and set it out.

"A bit hard to promise Maggie.. though your friend sure is looking after it isn't he? That V guy.." Hopefully they would be able to find that weird guy and put him behind bars. He just looked at Maggie again but just managed a smile. "I'll try my best not to get hurt."

"Good." She nodded. "Now enough of that...tell me more about Becky! Are you two officially a couple? Or just going on friendly dates still?" She led Liam to a couch and plopped him down. "Spill, mister. All the details."

"Wh...what? All the details.. do news travel that fast in our school, I'm just a nerd... oh.. wait yeah... a somewhat popular girl.. with a nerd.. sure does travel fast hum huh.." Liam looked at Mal for some kind of help, telling all the details would be pretty hard, he just looked at Maggie with that small smile, his cheeks completely red. "What I meant is.. huh.. I... hum huh....hmm..it's a real.. long story I don't think you'll have the patience for it.."

Maggie saw him glance to Mal. "No, no, no, she can't help you. I want your story. And of course I'll have the patience for it. And I think Marcus wants to know too. Story time!" She sat on the floor in front of Liam with crossed legs and an expectant look.
Sammi rolled her eyes. She still didn't like Maggie that much. "Maybe he doesn't want to tell the story, Maggie. Leave him alone."

Liam just looked at Maggie, surprised a bit, she just looked like a kid, which made him smile and laugh a little, he looked at Sammi though, Sammi and Maggie weren't in good terms yet. "Gah Maggie, you and Marcus going to pull that spanish inquisitor stuff at me." Liam said, though he laughed. "Yeah it's going well with me and her... and how do you know about that Maggie?" Liam said, smiling, though he was happy and seemed to be far from the old him. Liam was also avoiding the question a bit, Maggie would eventually learn about it nor would she stop questioning Liam though he enjoyed that and didn't mind.

Maggie laughed. "It's a small town, Liam. Everyone knows everything. And back off Miller" she added without even looking at Sammi. "So come on...I need more than it's just going well...that's boring."
Sammi scowled. Normally she would have pursued that but she didn't want to ruin Liam's party.

"It is a small town. .and fine yes.. we are dating." Liam said smiling, soon enough he got up though, to help out Marcus with the food. "I would like to tell you more Maggie but hum Marcus needs help with cooking the food." Liam said, smiling. "You can help too Maggie, Mal, Sammi what do you girls love, like spaghetti.. lasagna or something else?"

"Oh no, mister, you do not get off that easily!" Maggie followed him into the kitchen. "I want details!" She took a salad bowl from Marcus. "So keep talking."
Sammi and Mal looked at each other and shrugged. "I like pretty much anything" was Mal's answer and Sammi nodded in agreement.
Marcus looked between Liam to Maggie with an amused smile. "I'm fine here Liam, really. You go talk with the girls."

"But.. but.." Liam just said looking at Maggie and soon enough at Marcus who didn't really seem to protect him, he couldn't help but laugh a little. "Alright Maggie, after the food I'll tell you everything." Liam said smiling, testing her patience as well, he knew she might get a little impatient and might not be long till he talks about it.
