Lily was waiting in line behind a young mother and her two year old. The terrible two's was certain true for this little boy. He was causing such a ruckus that it looked like the mom was going to bawl her eyes out in the middle of the McDonald's line. Although she felt bad for the mother she couldn't help but scowl as her headache got worse. All she needed was some food in her rumbling stomach and then she would be able to finish picking up some stuff for her aunt. She was feeling light headed, she hadn't eaten since the night before and it was nearly 3 in the afternoon. She still had a few people in line in front of her and she waited impatiently, her arms crossed in front of her as she tried to ignore the little boy.

Becky and a lot of the team had gone to the mall after a particularly long scrimmage for a semi-team dinner. A few of the youner girls had to leave right after practice. "I'm heading to mcdonalds. I have the world's biggest craving for a cheesburger." She dropped her keys on the table they had found to save her seat, scooped up her wallet and headed for the line in front of McDonalds. She recognized the girl in front of her as Lily. Having lived in Saint James for her entire life, Becky knew almost everyone. She just knew them all at different levels of familiarity. She was still wearing her practice shorts, but had changed the practice jersey for a tee-shirt with rolled up sleeves. She had folded the shorts over twice at the waist, exposing some of her flat, tan stomach. On her feet were a pair of black flip flops. Her tangled blond hair was in an attempted side braid, pulled over one shoulder.
"Hey Lily" she said cheerfully. "Man, that kid is going to give me a migraine" she added after a minute, making a face.
