History (at least a paragraph):
Born in England by two English wealthy parents who travel often. Because of this he spent most of his childhood alone and never learned proper social skills. He his himself in a makeshift fort under his house and drove himself into a lonesome delirium about being powerful and important. He is a loner but always seeks the connection of another person. The problem is he doesn't know how to properly interact with anyone. He went to a English day school until problems arisen in school and his parents sent him to a catholic independent(American private) boarding school. While attending this school he realized he had the power to read minds. It felt like everyone's thoughts were like radio waves waiting for him to pick them up. Because of his manipulative ways, he used this power to his advantage. He is known to be violent when someone pushes the wrong buttons but can easily fool adults into thinking he is an innocent boy. As long as no one pushed him, he would leave them alone however. He left England before finishing his last year of A-levels and came to America to start over. His parents never really cared for him so they paid for his trip and promised to continue to give him money as he needed it. He found the town of Saint James and fell in love with it. He hopes to find a good friend and acceptance. He isn't looking for a girl though if one came along he wouldn't push them away. He is mainly looking to leave his mark on the world and will do anything to leave it.
Sample roleplay (at least a paragraph):
Nigel sat on a park bench reading a book about Cathars silently as he thought about what he might do now that he was in America. He knew he was still old enough to go to school but he didn't know if they would accept him because of how different England's education is. He knew he didn't want to go back any years or as America called it, grades. He was curious to know what high school was like. His only knowledge of it was what he saw on cheesy American films. He really hoped those were more fiction that truth because it made high school seem to bizarre to him.
He turned the page of his book and smirked at what was written. Slander in his mind. He found it amusing how books wrote what the public wanted to know rather than the truth. If only he could write his own book or at least get his red journal, his bible, published so everyone could finally see the truth. It was impossible however. The publishing companies were corrupt by the government. Nigel's paranoia made him think everything was corrupt by the government though.
Nigel sighed deeply. "I'm never going to be accepted here."
Nigel often talked to himself. It made his loneliness less painful. Sometimes he would attempt to talk to people even if they walked away. He would continue on as if they were still there. It made him weird but he didn't care. This was how Nigel was and no one could ever change him.
