Nigel walked into the electronics store to browse it. He didn't have any real intention of buying anything. Everything seems to expensive and useless. He didn't even own a cell phone. He liked to do things old fashion. A letter seemed more fitting then a text in his mind.
He picked up an Ipod that was on display and looked at it. He had little knowledge on how it worked. He knew it had something to do with a computer. He looked at the back wondering how the songs got into it then sighed. He was so out of place in this materialistic world that he was forced to live in. If he could live in simpler times he would.

Carrie walked into the store she was planning on getting a case for her new Driod Eris. She looked around as she saw the clerk, as she was walking towards the counter and bumped into someone. She looked at the boy and smiled slightly, "Oh, I am sorry" she says after she backs off a little.

Nigel dropped the display Ipod on the counter. He rubbed the back of his head nervously and stepped away even more than she had stepped away. He didn't like being so close to anyone. He looked down at his shoes feeling a headache coming on. This compelled Nigel to rub his eye in an even more nervous manner.
"Uh, it's alright," Nigel said.

Carrie looked at him for a moment before looking at the Ipod he dropped on the counter. She looked at the electronic for a moment before speaking, "thats a good piece of equipment, you going to buy?" she asks as she steps back to the counter so that she could place her hands on the glass.

"Uh," Nigel said, picking back up the Ipod. "To be honest I have no idea how it works."
Nigel rubbed the back of his head and started looking at the back of Ipod again. He twitched randomly; a nervous habit of his and tapped the Ipod on the counter. He pressed a random button and it turned on. Nigel smiled and looked at it like a caveman would look at fire. It intrigued him greatly.

Carrie nodded slowly, "not from here?" she asks guessing, not only from his slight accent but from his lack of knowledge of the Ipod. She smiled as it turned on, looking at him she could tell it fasinated him deeply. She laughed a little, "its a pretty interesting piece of work..." she says.

"I'm from England," Nigel said as he played with the Ipod.
Nigel wondered how he could hear the music now that he got the thing on. People from England weren't unaware of electronics but he generally didn't surround himself with it. Now that he was in an electronic shop holding an Ipod he felt the need to learn about what he was missing all these years. He scratched his forehead and looked at the girl.
"How do you listen to the music?" Nigel asked.

Carrie nodded when he said he was from England. She had been there a few times with her parents for Winter Vacation. It had been pretty cold but it was still nice, "its a beautiful country England is...Your lucky to have lived there" she says. She then laughs a little and asks the clerk for head phones. She then gives them to the boy, whos name she had not yet learned, "I am sorry but I dont think I got your name, I am Carrie" she says after she hands the ear-buds to him.
