Kristy was taking care of Silver since it was her off day she didnt even have to be here but she didnt care. She came in and rode anyway, her horse Silver was pretty sweaty from there hard workout. Since they had a show she had one day of hard workout with Silver then a day of just going through the basic dressage and flatwork movements so Silver wasnt to tired when the weekend came. She smiled at her 6 year old gray thoroughbred as he bumped her with his nose.
*I want my hay now please* she hears Silver say in his mind.
"Not now, your still way to hot...You could Colic and you dont want that do you" she says in her softest quietest voice used only when she was speaking to horses or dogs.
*I dont care Kristy, I want it now...I am hungry* he says bumping her again.
Kristy shakes her head and keeps grooming Silver not listening to his kid like actions. As she was grooming she heard footsteps on the gravel pavement outside. She stopped brushing and looked out the stall door. There was a blonde girl standing out there she wondered who it was. She looked oddly familar probably from school Kristy assumed. She opend the stall door and walked over to the girl, "Hi, do you need help with anything?" she asks kindly.

Amber walked up to the stable doors. She hadn't been here since she was a little kid. She missed being here with all the horses. The smells of hay, alfalfa, and leather mixing in the air made it feel like home.
In the midst of Amber's reminiscing, she heard a voice. She couldn't see the person from where she was at, but she noticed that one of the stall doors was open. She walked closer and saw a girl about her age.
"Hi, do you need help with anything?"
"Oh, hi." she said, a little embarrassed. She felt a little lost, feeling way out of place here. "No thanks, I just came by to clear my head. I haven't been here in years, but I felt like I needed to get back. I've missed being near the horses. It makes me feel like I don't have any problems in my life." Amber took a couple of steps closer to the girl and stuck out her hand for the girl to shake, "Oh, I'm sorry. My name's Amber. Amber Mills." ((^ Wow, cheesy Bond reference. lol ^))

Kristy smiles at the girl as she starts talking. When she heard her say she used to come in here when she was little she nodded she knew people who took lessons when they were little then didnt come back till they were older. She shook Ambers hand, "I am Kristy Learing...You wouldnt happen to be Grace's sister would you?" she asks, she knew Grace had a twin but she wasnt sure if they were identaical or not, "and I know what you mean even though I am in here everyday its a nice place just to relax and get away from it all" she says as she closes the stall door.

"Yeah, Grace is my sister. We're twins, even though we don't look that much alike." Amber looked inside the stall at Kristy's horse. He was beautiful. She wished she came here more often so she would be able to ride. God, it's been so long, she isn't even sure if she knows how any more. "You're lucky that you get to spend every day here. It's so peaceful; I'm wishing I came more often." Amber pointed to the stall after Kristy had closed the door. "You have a very beautiful horse there. What breed is he?" she asked, hoping to not sound totally ignorant.

Amber chuckles when she says her sister is "nice". "Yeah, Grace is a great person. She can be annoying at times, but I guess that's just because I've known her my whole life." she finishes with a smile. "So, do you do competitions or anything like that with him?" Amer asked, pointing at the stall in front of her.

Kristy laughs and nods, "well she seems really good for my cousin so I am proud" she says and then nods, "yeah we go out of state a lot too...But we also have competeitions here in state, were ranked about tenth in the nation right now" she says looking proudly at her horse, "and about 100th in the world...I am pretty lucky to own such a great horse" she says.
