Verloren just sighed, as he was walking the streets, until he saw the library. Maybe he could do some research about stuff. V entered the library and just looked around, there wasn't a lot of people, which was good. He just looked at the book shelves and walked between some of em, searching for some good books, so he could learn more about this weird thing going on. Not that he cared that much, his power was an ability that he could use, once he gets that freedom. He sighed calmly searching for a good book to read, though his mind drifted too far. As he closed eyes and seemed to be lost in his thoughts. He could hear a voice in his head, a girls voice, by sound of the voice, she seemed young, pretty young. "Brother..." Hearing that voice, freaked him out, it was probably his imagination after all the working he did but it still just freaked him out. As he opened his eyes, on a book already in his hand, he didn't know when he got it. He just looked at it, which he shouldn't of, he shouldn't of, as the pages caught in flames, the book was burning. He held it in his hands, as the fire only tickled his hand but he had to put it out.
"Crap.. crap...water..water.." V looked around, panicking a bit, until he decided to jump on the book to set the fire off. Wasn't wise at all. He just looked around and found a table with a bottle of water on it, he ran toward it, took the bottle and threw water at the pages, he sighed calmly as it was working. The book was completely ruined, as he put it over the shelve and ran away to another shelve, so no one can blame him of, burning a book, he hoped no one saw that, but since the library was a bit empty, there was probably 0 % chances of being seen.

Derek had been stalking the book shelves for something good to read, His cable had long been turned off in his apartment and when he was alone and bored reading seemed to do the trick of passing the tame. He heard a commotion could smell the smoke on the air, different then the constant cling of the smell of the cigarettes he was always smoking. He pulled the ruined book from the shelf and with a light touch of his fingers the water was gone from it, leaving it dry and singed but it wouldn't ruin the other books. He then fallowed the kid he'd seen run off a small smirk on his face wonder what was up. "Well hello there " He said leaning against the book shelf and eying Verloren. He fished his cigarettes our of his pocket tapping the bottom of the pack and looking around, they were far in the back of the library there was no one around. "gotta light?" he asked almost curiously.

Once at the other bookshelf he looked at different books, wondering if he would find something interesting or at least helpful, he noticed the book he burnt getting picked up, he didn't know by who, all he did is turn away and face the other position looking at the books from his left side. Until he heard footsteps getting closer, eventually someone he didn't know greeted him and took out a cigarette from his pocket it seems. Verloren just scratched his hair. "I'm sorry bud but I don't smoke, so I don't have any lighter." His voice was rather calm for someone who could of set the library on fire because of that power of his. He just eyed Derek carefully, wondering if he was joking. They were in a library after all.

Amber walked into the library, in need of a good book to read. She didn't know what it was, but the smell of old books and the library's atmosphere made her feel happy. Walking randomly through the aisles of books, she stopped when she saw a whole section of Shakespeare. She picked up a copy of A Midsummer Night's Dream and started walking to a nearby table. When she turned the corner down one of the aisles, she noticed two guys standing there. She was going to walk away and go down one of the other aisles, but she bumped into the bookshelf, making both of them look up at her--throwing that plan out the proverbial window. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt." she said, backing up. Then she noticed that one of the guys held a cigarette in his hand, "Hey, that stuff kills, you know." Amber didn't know either of these two guys, but smokers really bothered her. "Not only does it cause cancer, but the cost! That, and it makes you smell like a fag." Maybe saying that wasn't such a good idea. she thought, Fag was the British word for cigarette, but who says he knew that? so she stood there, with an amused look on her face and a feisty attitude to back her up.
