History (at least a paragraph):
Ashley grew up on a farm outside of town. She lives with her parents who have been happily married for 25 years, and her younger brother Johnny. They live on a dairy farm that has been in her family for generations, and they produce some of the town's dairy products. She realized that she had a power that allowed her to understand and talk to animals when she was about 5 years old. She has been using this special gift to help animals ever since, and the only person who knows about her gift is her younger brother. This is because he saw her talking to one of their horses a few years ago, and wondered why she was talking to it. Her family is also an animal-loving family; they rescue dogs and cats, and even sometimes farm animals. They may live on a 40 acre dairy farm, but they own a lot of different kinds of animals.
Sample roleplay (at least a paragraph):
Ashley walked through the mall with her newly purchased chocolate shake in her right hand. On her right shoulder hung a long, brown, velvet bag which served as her purse. Sipping her shake, she wandered the modern shopping building, when, suddenly, a store caught her eye: Abercrombie and Fitch.
She smiled at the sight of it, but then remembered; even when she was doing fairly well she could barely afford shopping there. She saw a bunch of people that she knew (well, she didnt really know them, she'd just seen them around the town) school shopping there; well, that was probably because their daddies could afford it! Ashley didnt have that luxury- money had always been tight in her life. They lived on a small farm and the money just wasn’t flowing in as easily as it had been in the years before.
Ashley mulled over the thought of pulling one of those "oh-im-just-gonna-go-look-around-and-maybe-try-something-on-You-know,-window-shop" things. She decided that it wouldnt hurt if she just took a quick look around in the store; hey, maybe she would find a sale rack.
She paced over to the high-dollar store and then walked inside. She was greeted by a girl that looked to be about 20 who obviously worked there- judging by the ensemble of Abercrombie and Fitch clothing, and her nametag that read, "Hello, My Name is... was that Holly? Oh well, Ashley just wanted to get to the shopping. She quickly said a [teal]"Hello"[/teal] back to the employee, and moved to the back of the store. If theres any sales, they'll surely be back here, she thought. And just like she thought, there was one lonely rack of clothing that was set in the back left corner of the room. Instinctively, she headed over there.
But, like a shiny diamond, an outfit that hung on one of the mannequins caught Ashley's eye. It was a summer outfit (which, why the hell would you have a summer outfit out on sale when its winter? oh...yeah...sale) that consisted of a red and white plaid long-sleeved button-up shirt and a pair of whitish khaki shorts. She smiled at the outfit, but before she got too excited about it, she looked at the price tag. It read in bold $49.99 for the shorts, and $39.99 for the shirt. Darn it! That was way more than what Ashley wanted to spend; but the outfit was so cute!
She shrugged it off and went to peruse the sale rack. But, it couldnt hold her attention for long. She kept glancing back at the outfit on the mannequin, and then decided she would just try it on. Great, now im gonna get hooked on this and im not gonna be able to buy it! she thought. But, she smiled and found the corresponding pieces of on the rack that were flaunted by the mannequin.
She got herself a dressing room, and quickly threw the outfit on. She walked out of the dressing room and tried to find a mirror- no luck. She looked up and down the long hall which contained the dressing rooms lined down the right side. She frowned and bit her lip. She looked out into the store, and, of course, there was a mirror right by the entrance of the store. She sighed, but plodded out to the mirror.
Her reflection was...well, it was pretty good! She smiled widely, then thought "Shoot! I knew i would love it! Where the hell am i going to get the money for this?!. Now she had a dilema. She sat in front of the mirror-seeing in the mirror people walking by the store and staring at her-, and debated what to do. The outfit was amazing, but...
